Supported document types

Choose a supported document for the submission's market. Upload with country_code, document_type, and document_subtype; the subtype is optional for photo_identification and address_proof, which Niva identifies from the file. See Uploading documents for the upload flow.
Use the submission's market for country_code. Only photo identification for a submission in Mexico (mx) may use another issuing country. Passports and other documents are accepted in all four markets.
Extracted data. Each schema below describes the full data object from Get document after extraction. Fields may be empty or null when information was not extracted. The upload response can contain less information; Mexican corporate documents also use different nesting during initial validation. An unrecognized document can return only data.document_type.
Validation checks. The lists below show checks enabled by the default policy. Your policy can change the checks and their outcomes. Initial checks contribute to validation_status; additional checks run during full analysis. A check can be skipped when it does not apply or its comparison inputs are unavailable. Processing time varies.
